It started, as most things involving Steve do, with a fight. Sam was one of the closest to the fight in New York, so he was quite quick and ready to get there. But what made the call out interesting was that Steve was saying someone else from the 40s had just shown up. As Sam was making his way through the skyscrapers to where the fight was going on, he was making a mental list of some of the people that it could have been. Any one of the old Howling Commandos, possibly one of the Justice Society...there's a rather large list.
So when Sam finally gets into range, he sees that the fight is mostly over. Looks like a quick mop up would be needed, but Sam, flying in as fast as he could, could easily make that a reality. He sees Steve punching out a goon, as well as someone he didn't know. He was guessing they were the friend of Steves.

"Sam! Good to know you got our signal. This fine soldier is Zinda Blake, of the Blackhawks. Zinda, let me introduce you to Sam Wilson, alias Falcon."
There was a definite knowing smile from Steve.
"Hey," Sam said, extending a hand and making it very obvious he was trying not to take a good long look at her legs.

I got a group of friends you'd fit right in with," she said, returning her attention to Sam. "Think you can give me a lift to the ground, Pretty Bird?" Ollie wasn't around to hear her stealing from him, so she went for it. Mostly to see Sam's reaction. "I ain't keen on givin' these half-conscious assholes much more of a chance of a look up my skirt."
Steve had the advantage here. He was used to her.

"Well, I wouldn't mind being of help. As for the offer of flight, where are you heading to?"
Steve is now looking back and forth between the two, a small smile on his face.

"I have some stuff to do. Get in touch with Damage Control so they can get started on fixing this. You two...have fun."
